Play Australia was formed in 1914 by a committed group of individuals who wanted to ensure all children had safe and interesting places to play.

Play Australia still believes that for a healthy community, children need time, space and freedom to play, and that play is important for adults too.

Supporters of Play Australia are organisations and individuals committed to play in Australia who believe in the mission. When they subscribe, they support a national voice for play and allow new initiatives to be developed and delivered so that play in Australia is protected, preserved and promoted.

Rights and Responsibilities

Some things to know before joining us:

  • All members and supporters must support the Play Australia mission and values and agree to abide by the constitution, rules and regulations of Play Australia.
  • Members must be based in Australia, Supporters are welcome to join from anywhere in the world.
  • The Board of Play Australia is reqiured to approve all applications for membership.
  • Play Australia reserves the right to remove a membership or supporter subscription if deemed not to reflect the mission and values of Play Australia or has potential to damage the reputation of our organisation and/or that if its members and supporters.

Payment Options

Play Australia is now able to accept the following payments methods for NEW Membership payments and for RENEWALS

  • Paypal or Credit Card (preferred)
  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
  • Cheque/money order

Advice for EFT payments: Please send payment to NAB - BSB 083 543 - Account 201889432. Please include your Invoice Number in the Reference Field when making an EFT payment and by forwarding the bank remittance to info@playaustralia.org.au

Advice for cheque or money order payments: Please include a copy of your invoice in your envelope with your cheque or money order, then post to: Play Australia, PO Box 481 Paddington NSW 2021

What about Paypal and Credit Card?  If you select credit card payment you will use the secure GUEST PAYPAL CHECKOUT (you do not need a paypal account for this). For your security, we are not able to accept credit card payments via phone or email.  

If you have a Paypal Account, choose Paypal to be taken to the paypal login screen to complete your purchase.
