This interview style presentation will outline the pathway to YES....in order to develop and deliver a kindergarten based program at Werribee Mansion, a first for Council. One of Wyndham’s most extraordinary Early Years Teachers, Michelle Shaw will share her story, the trials and tribulations and commitment that she needed to get a YES to make this happen.
Kim will lead the conversation embedding the need for vision, advocacy, project planning, partnership, stakeholder engagement and change management.
Kim is the Wyndham City, Coordinator, Early Education And Care Services, and a seasoned early years professional with 38 years’ experience working across Local, State and Federal governments, for profit and not for profit organisations and services.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood and Primary along with a Master of Learning Intervention (Disability) and is a kindergarten teacher at Wyndham City Council. Michelle is passionate and dedicated about inclusion and providing the opportunity for all children to participate in an early years program. Catering to the diverse needs of children led Michelle on a journey to discover the wonders of nature based learning.
